In just two years, Dancing with the Arlington Stars has raised over half a million dollars for nonprofits in Arlington—and we’re just getting started!

We’re now accepting applications for our 2026 Celebrity Dancers, and we want YOU to join the movement that’s lighting up the city and changing lives.

💡 What Is DWTAS?

It’s more than a dance competition—it’s a high-energy, high-impact charity event that brings together local “celebrities” to raise money for causes they care about, all while performing on stage in front of a sold-out crowd.

Each dancer chooses a local nonprofit (approved by our Grant Committee), and then fundraises in the months leading up to the event.

💸 Where the Money Goes

Here’s the part we’re most proud of:

Your approved charity is guaranteed to receive a minimum of 20% of every dollar you raise. But thanks to all of the community’s support and the incredible success of our past two events, we’ve been able to give back much more than expected.

⭐️ In fact:

• Dancer’s charities have received an average of 70% of their total funds raised

• Some charities have even received over 100% of what their dancer raised

• If there are remaining funds, we open a grant application process for other Arlington nonprofits to apply for funding through our Rotary Grant Committee

• Willing to fundraise—this is a fundraiser first, dance show second!

• The 2026 event date is TBD, but rehearsals begin Fall 2025

• This is a competitive selection process—we curate a cast that is fun, engaging, and diverse
